Color: We believe in dynamic and nuanced color palettes. Dru’s background as a color specialist in the fashion industry for brands like Kate Spade, J.Crew and Alexander Wang, informs her color palettes and aesthetic. We love using color to make events distinctive, memorable and elevated.

Joy: Florals should be fun, and it is our distinct pleasure to work with couples, families or corporate clients to share this joy! Working with your florist should be an enjoyable creative process that helps you define and perfect your event’s look and feel. About Dru…

Hi! I’m Dru, and I started FloraModa with the goal of merging a successful career in fashion with a lifelong love of flowers. My mission is to help couples and brands express their unique vision and personality with style. My background in color theory and fashion design informs all my floral work, resulting in floral designs that are chic, unique and truly memorable. My favorite thing about being a florist is the opportunity to enhance a person’s special day with the beauty of flowers. At FloraModa, we offer our services joyfully to people of all ages, abilities, genders, gender identities, races, religion or belief systems, and sexual orientations, and to events of all kinds.

Our Design Process

Interview

Creating dynamic florals for your event starts with a conversation. Understanding your unique vision is paramount. We love getting to know couples and brands and building florals around their stories. We’ll discuss the details of your event, including headcount, venue, location, budget, and your floral needs. We welcome your photos, Pinterest boards and other visual inspirations as we aim to understand your aesthetic.

Estimate

Using the information from your interview, we’ll draw up a detailed and itemized estimate for your review. We are very transparent with our pricing from the get-go, so you can make the best financial decision for you. You can review your estimate at your leisure and when you decide to book, we can start the exciting process of bringing your event to life through flowers!

Design Board

The fun stuff! The next step is using your interview and inspirations to create a design board unique to your event. This includes floral color palette and the overall look and feel of the event’s florals, for you to review. We’ll work together to make sure we’ve nailed the look you want for your event.

Execution

Along the way, we’ll provide you with regular updates leading up to your event. We’ll coordinate with your other vendors or planners to assure a cohesive vision and smooth set-up and break-down the day of the event. Day of- we’re often the first the arrive and the last to leave- no detail is left to chance. We got you!
